Susan decides to celebrate her ‘big birthday’ by repeating a journey to Australia she made with a group of friends when she was 20. This time she is travelling alone carrying the same hopes and dreams, but with many years extra baggage! Endlessly chatty and accident prone - her wit, charm, chaos and hint of sadness gives her a unique outlook on life making her an unforgettable character.

Ann Brown

As many of you will probably know by now, we have lost our beloved Ann.


Her loyalty to The Hospital Players for over 50 years was second to none.


It is impossible to put into words everything she did or meant to so many people.


The Hospital Players will therefore be dedicating this week's show at the Plowright to Ann.


She will be sadly missed by us all and by so many others.


All our love goes out to Lindsey, Louise and all Ann's family.
