“The Hospital Players” dramatic society was formed in 1943 by a group of drama enthusiasts with the object of raising money for the Scunthorpe War Memorial Hospital, which was then being run on a voluntary basis.


Since their inception they have produced twelve plays and given over £700 to the War Memorial Hospital.
